I am a child of God

Forever in His keeps

His eye on the sparrow

Because He never sleeps

 

I am a child of God

The Bible tells me so

And I truly need Him

In Him I must grow

 

I am a child of God

Trusting on in Faith

My confidence is in Him

For sufficient is His Grace

 

I am a child of God

I don’t just do the talk

I must follow and obey

In steps like the Master would walk

 

I am a child of God

In His death raised

I walk not in darkness

I have the light of day

 

I am a child of God

Before time began

And all the Glory goes

To God’s begotten Son




 

I am God’s child

A Princess of royal birth

My Father is King

Of Heaven and of Earth

 

All who seek Him

None will He cast out

His word is faithful

Trust and have no doubt
